Abiqua Wind Vineyard NV Lot 17 Estate Interwined Cuvèe White Wine, Willamette Valley, $15

Best Buy! This 11-acre site in the Cascade Foothills east of Salem, Ore., is home to five aromatic white varieties, and grower/vintner Pete Buffington blends them all — Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Early Muscat and Riesling — into a complex and bright offering. While the nose is reminiscent of ambrosia salad with lychee and orange oil, it’s stylish and dry inside. The profile of orchard fruit carries no bitterness yet a lot of juiciness that carries through with lime zest and Granny Smith apple.
