A tribute to winemaker Brock Lindsay’s previous profession that included the improved Evergreen Point Floating Bridge, his Left Bank-inspired blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (46%), Cabernet Franc (30%), Merlot (15%), Malbec (7%) and Petit Verdot spans seven of the state’s top vineyards — each representing a different American Viticultural Area. It leads with a site that the Lake Chelan vintner manages, Antoine Creek along the Columbia River, and includes such venerable planting as Weinbau (Wahluke Slope), Bacchus (White Bluffs) and rising star Quintessence on Red Mountain. The wine combines both complexity and approachability with its pleasing presentation of dusty Bing cherry, boysenberry, plum fruit leather, tobacco, oregano and finish of vanilla.
