At this point, there are 10 vineyard blocks established across the Wall family’s 55 acres in what’s now the Mount Pisgah, Polk County, Oregon American Viticultural Area. The two blocks planted at the highest elevation are clone 76 and 95 Chardonnay, which combine for the 3 acres that winemaker Tony Rynders works with for this bottling. Complexity arrives on the charming and citrusy palate, led by starfruit, Meyer lemon and Granny Smith apple.
