Mary McDermott produced this 2019 gorgeous Blanc de Blanc sparkler using 100% Chardonnay grapes from the British Columbia producers’ estate planting on the Naramata Bench and Hidden Terrace Vineyard near Oliver. Lively mousse greets the eye and nose to offer up citrus and fresh cut crisp green apple. These fruits are echoed on the palate accompanied with bright acidity and a long finish of more green apple and Crème Fraîche. Among the accolades for this bottling is a gold at the British Columbia Lieutenant Governors Wine Awards.
