Great Northwest Wine Magazine has selected Veer Wine Project in the Snake River Valley as the 2024 Idaho Winery of the Year.
California native Will Wetmore continues to mastermind some of the most exciting and decorated wines coming out of Idaho via Veer, which recently opened a tasting room and event space in Garden City, the edgy bedroom community of Boise.
Our profile of Veer, illustrated by photojournalist Richard Duval, will appear in the Spring 2024 issue of Great Northwest Wine Magazine, scheduled to reach subscribers in early April.

I was down recently to see my Aunt and Uncle in Kuna and stopped to see Will in Garden City. I have to say that I think he is making some of the best wines in Idaho! It was refreshing to taste such wines with energy and aromatics that had not been over blown by oak which I saw too much on our day of tasting. Glad you see the same in his wines. Cheers

Will’s original red Le Compere has been my favorite wine since his first release in 2016. The 2022 is just outstanding and I look forward to my next bottle shared with friends.
