89. Ryan Patrick Vineyards 2010 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley, $35

ryan-patrick-reserve-cabRyan Patrick Vineyards is a longtime winery in the North Central Washington region, and the brand is now owned by Milbrandt Vineyards. The vineyard is in the Quincy area, and the tasting room is in the Bavarian-themed town of Leavenworth. Jeremy Santo, who worked his way up through the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates system, is the head winemaker. This approachable red wine opens with aromas of plum, mocha and black cherry, followed by rich flavors of black olive, juicy boysenberry and blueberry.
