Stoller Family Estate 2012 Tempranillo Rosé, Dundee Hills, $25

Stoller Family Estate is a winery in the Dundee Hills of Oregon's Willamette Valley.Tempranillo, the red grape of Spain’s Rioja region, is not normally associated with the cool Willamette Valley. But this winery in the Dundee Hills grows just enough to make a delicious rosé, available in the tasting room. It offers aromas of cooked cherry, earth, strawberry and rose petals, followed by flavors of lime juice, cranberry and Rainier cherry. It’s a bright, dry wine with a lingering midpalate.
